PSY2450 Substance Use & Co-Occurring Disorders
This course provides students the opportunity to examine the complexities of substance use and co-occurring disorders and treatment methodology in multiple client populations. Students will examine theories and etiology of substance use and co-occurring disorders; the effects of substances and addictions on the client and others; models of addiction, and best practices in counseling and treatment for individuals with substance use and co-occurring disorders.
