BIO1320 Biology 2:Evolution, Organisms & Ecology
This course provides students introduces students to evolution, organismal biology, and ecologic interactions. Students will examine the mechanisms driving evolutionary change, the organization of life from cells to organisms, and phylogenetic relationships, with an emphasis on structure-function dynamics across body systems and clades. Key ecological principles, including population dynamics, energy flow, species interactions, and conservation biology will be explored. The laboratory component complements the lecture by engaging students in the scientific method, data collection, and analysis to investigate biological concepts and problem-solving in the life sciences.
