SMT2800 Smart Manufacturing Capstone Project
This course allows students to work in teams on a project, developed in collaboration with engineering faculty and industry partners, to solve an engineering problem. The project may involve designing a new system or modifying an existing system along with implementation of suitable process control strategies. The course will introduce students to the engineering design process and draw on skills from earlier course work in the program, including the function and operation of various sensors, actuating devices and other components used in automated manufacturing systems.
