MLT1010 Basic Medical Laboratory Techniques
This course provides a basic introduction in the various areas of the clinical laboratory including phlebotomy, hematology, urinalysis, immunology, microbiology and chemistry. Pipettes, glassware, safety, metrics, quality assurance, medical ethics, and instrumentation are also discussed. Upon successful completion of this course, the student will be able to perform basic laboratory testing in the clinical/practicum experience.
