DMS1301 Sonography Clinical III
This course is the third of five of clinical applications of ultrasound procedures, and the last in the junior year of the program. This includes scheduled clinical rotation assignments. All clinical courses include scheduled image analysis classes. Students are actively involved in all clinical procedures in their assigned clinical rotation This course will continue to provide the student clinical education needed to practice sonography. This course takes place in imaging departments, with actual patient contact. The student will rotate through assigned clinical areas. The student will be evaluated for clinical competencies of the semester. The student will perform under both direct and indirect supervision the entire quarter, depending on completed competency requirements. The student will follow all policies and procedures of the program.
