SWA2610 Crisis Intervention
In this course students will be introduced to basic crisis intervention skills that will include an examination of the nature of crisis, and the use of models of assessment. Students will explore specific areas of crisis including lethality, post-traumatic stress disorder, sexual assault, partner violence, chemical dependency, bereavement and grief, violent behavior in institutions, and issues related to burnout of human service workers. 3 Cr Hrs.
