CHM1000 General & Biological Chemistry

This elementary chemical concepts class is designed primarily for Medical Laboratory Science students. Students will first learn about chemical bonding, mixtures, acids, and bases. Then students will explore the structure and function of various types of organic compounds such as hydrocarbons, carbohydrates, lipids, proteins, and nucleic acids.
